When excess Pitta gets trapped in the scalp, it causes a number of problems, like hair loss, thinning, greying, and balding. Neem is excellent at cooling the fiery pitta, making your hair thicker, shinier and more lustrous.
Use this hair pack to fight dandruff and to make your hair shiny and full of life. Along with Neem, the moong dal and methi (fenugreek seeds) fight dandruff and promote hair growth.
Soak moong dal and methi overnight.
Grind them into a fine paste the next day.
Make a paste by adding 8-10 neem leaves to water.
Combine the two pastes and add curd till it is of a spreadable consistency.
Apply it to the scalp and hair and allow it to dry for 15-20 minutes.
Rinse with cool water.
Sometimes excess Pitta can get trapped in the skull, causing heat to radiate. This often leads to dandruff.
Fix this with a homemade anti-dandruff Ayurvedic solution
Add a couple neem leaves to some coconut oil and bring to a boil.
Once boiled and taken off the gas, add some lemon juice to the concoction
Apply overnight to ease dandruff.
Follow this up with the Jiva neem shampoo the next morning. It delivers great results in combating dandruff and scalp infections.
