Vajrasana, or the thunderbolt pose, is beneficial for stomach-related disorders
The Knee to Chest pose, or the Pawanmuktasana asana, relieves excessive digestive air, indigestion, bloating and constipation
Excessive pitta creates the basis for stone formation. An imbalanced kapha mixes with pitta and facilitates the formation of a sticky substance. Vata then dries the mixture, which results in the formation of gallstones. Apart from maintaining a healthy diet, the following asanas help too.
This asana is best for meditation and concentration. It helps you keep a stable mind, stay calm, and is beneficial for stomach disorders.
Fold both your legs and place your feet under your hips.
Close your eyes and sit straight.
Keep your knees touching.
Keep your right palm on your right knee and left palm on left knee.
Exhale and imagine that all your disorders are coming out from your nostril.
Try to practice Vajrasana for 5 minutes after lunch or dinner.
Increase the time of asana slowly to 30 minutes and then 60 minutes.
This asana relieves excessive digestive air, indigestion, bloating, and constipation.
Lie down flat on a plain surface. Extend your hands hands and legs.
Inhale and as you exhale, bring your knees to your chest.
If possible, wrap your forearms over your shins and clasp each elbow with the opposite hand.
Keep your back flat and release your shoulder blades toward your waist.
Broaden across your collarbone.
Lengthen your spine even more by drawing your tailbone.
Tuck in your chin. Hold up for a minute or two. Breathe evenly.
With exhalation, release and extend both legs along the floor and rest.
Repeat up to six times.
