3 Simple Home Remedies for Joint Pain

People often suffer from joint pain problem in their knees, hips, back and shoulder. This disease is common in older people and is caused due to many factors like ligament injury, strain, gout, deficiency of calcium etc. Problems like arthritis are very common in India and are extremely painful.

You can get relief from pain by using these home-remedies. You can make it a part of your daily routine to get benefit from this Ayurvedic remedies:

Turmeric

In India, turmeric is used in our daily food. This excellent remedy is a cure for many diseases in including joint pain problem. There is a long list of health benefits that we can get from the use of turmeric in different ways. It is very good medicine that contains curcumin which has anti-inflammatory property. You can take turmeric with hot milk and honey or alternatively you can also take this as capsules.

Pain Relief Massage Oil

To prepare this oil, boil 5 grams each of Ajwain, Adrak, Laung and Lehsun in 100ml Sesame Oil for 10-15 minutes. Let it cool and strain the oil with the help of cotton cloth and store it in a glass bottle. Use this oil to massage daily for quick relief from joint pain.

Hot and Cold Treatment

Hot oil massage is a traditional method to get instant relief from joint pain. You can either use mustard oil or sesame oil for massage. Body massage with heated oil enhances the blood circulation of the body and gives quick relief in any kind of pain. Cold treatment is helpful in pain due to swelling or any injury. You can rub ice cubes on the affected area for 2-3 times a day and you will get relief from swelling.
