But, first things first - are your eyes healthy? Here are some symptoms that are indicative of eye problems
Blurry and unclear vision
Pain, swelling, itchiness in and around the eyes
Redness & inflammation
Seeing small spots
An aggravated Pitta dosha
High levels of pollution leading to the accumulation of dirt in the eyes
Chemicals like the ones found in processed foods
Irritation caused by using too many cosmetic products on the area around the eyes
Prolonged use of technology that leads to dry or excessively watery eyes
Add a few drops of gulab jal to cold water and clean your eyes with this every day.
Panchkarma, especially Netra Basti, is excellent for the eyes.
Warm your palms by rubbing them together. Press them to your closed eyes to soothe them and increase blood circulation.
Do eye exercises by rotating your eyeballs up, down, right and left
Combine 50 gms badaam (almonds), 50 gms saunf (fennel seeds), and 10 gms safed mirch (white pepper) and eat it twice a day with milk.
