Yoga and Ayurveda have a cure for almost all diseases. And yoga, especially, is a boon for patients suffering from piles. In most cases, haemorrhoids are caused by chronic constipation. And Yoga prevents constipation, increases digestive power, which prevents further growth of haemorrhoids. Following are some easy yoga asanas to naturally cure piles:

1) Aswinimudra:

This asana can give instant relief from haemorrhoidal pain and inflammation. You can do this asana anywhere at the office or while watching TV or even when standing or walking. Start by sitting comfortably in meditation pose. Close your eyes and focus your attention to your anal area, contract it and just try to shrink your buttock muscles for as long as possible without straining. Release and repeat.

2) Matsyasasana:

This asana should be performed in the morning preferably on an empty stomach. Start by sitting with both legs crossed in a padmasana or sukasana. Hold your toes or put your hands on the ground and lay on your backside. Place the crown of your head on the ground and lift your chest and body up making a arc-like shape. Hold for 1 to 2 minutes and release. Repeat 5-10 times.

3) Sarvangasana:

Lay down on the floor with both legs together and raise them to make a right angle. Support your waist with your hands and further raise your legs and body upwards. Maintain your body weight on your shoulders and hands while keeping your elbows on the ground for at least 50-60 seconds. Slowly lower your body and release.

4) Shirsana:

Shirsana is quite similar to sarvangasana but is a bit more complicated to perform. Start by sitting in vajrasana and bend forward while folding your hands on the floor, making a cushion for your head. Now rest your head in your hand cushion and raise your abdomen and straighten your legs making a dolphin pose. Raise your legs up and straighten your back. Slowly try to attain a completely vertical position. Hold for 50-60 seconds and come back to normal state slowly.

5) Tadasana:

Start by standing on the ground with both legs together and hands to the side. Raise your arms over your head and lock the fingers and turn the palms upwards. Hold for a few seconds and then release.
