Neem (Azadirachta indica): Neem has well-known antibacterial and antiseptic properties. Chewing neem leaves or using a neem leaf paste is a great home remedy for ulcers in mouth. 

Coconut Magic: Cooling and Pitta-pacifying, coconut oil can be used as a natural mouthwash. Gargle with a mixture of lukewarm water and coconut oil several times a day to reduce inflammation and discomfort.

Cooling Down the Heat: Avoid foods that aggravate Pitta dosha, such as spicy food, fried food, citrus fruits, and excessive coffee. 

Embrace the Cooling Effect: Opt for cooling and Pitta-pacifying foods like yogurt, cucumber, leafy greens, watermelon, and pomegranate. 

Spice it Wisely: Instead of hot peppers, use cooling spices like coriander, fennel, and turmeric. 

Stay Hydrated: Drink sufficient amount of water throughout the day to keep your mouth hydrated and promote healing. 

Lifestyle Modifications for a Healthy Mouth: 

Beyond diet and remedies, certain lifestyle changes can help prevent and manage mouth ulcers: 

Stress Management: Chronic stress can exacerbate Pitta, leading to mouth ulcers. Practice relaxation techniques like yoga, meditation, and deep breathing to manage stress and promote overall well-being. 

Maintain Oral Hygiene: Brushing and flossing twice daily removes bacteria and debris that can irritate the mouth and contribute to ulcers. Use a gentle toothpaste that's free of harsh chemicals. 

Adequate Sleep: Aim for good 7-8 hours of quality sleep every night. Sleep deprivation can disrupt the body's balance and contribute to various health issues, including mouth ulcers. 

While these remedies can offer significant relief and promote faster healing, the best approach to mouth ulcers is prevention. By maintaining a nutritional balanced diet, managing stress, and prioritizing good oral hygiene, you can reduce your risk of future outbreaks.
