Health Benefits of Turmeric

Extensively used in India cooking, turmeric is one of the most effective Ayurvedic medicines with a number of health benefits. Turmeric contains lipopolysaccharides, which increases your immunity and controls any disease and inflammation. It is an anti-bacterial element that helps fight all kinds of infections. If there is any swelling in the body and it is not recovering from the medicine, then you should consume turmeric water. For this you can mix half teaspoon turmeric in 1 glass of water and stir it well and drink it. Turmeric contains the curcumin which is a yellow chemical and is very effective in swelling and severe pain.

Turmeric water is the best medicine for inflammation. Regular consumption of turmeric water can avoid a deadly disease like cancer. Turmeric helps in reducing the infections caused by the cancer bacteria. It is also very effective in the treatment of cancer patients for whom the Chemotherapy is ineffective. Turmeric reduces cholesterol and prevents blood from being thick, which reduces chances of heart attack and stroke.

Turmeric increases your bile flow in gallbladder, thereby aids in digestion and you can digest fat easily. Turmeric boosts the liver function and protects it from any type of infection.

To keep you healthy, mix half a teaspoon of turmeric in a glass of water and drink it in the morning.

Who should not consume turmeric? - Pregnant women - Patients suffering from kidney stones - Patients with Stomach Ulcer

People suffering from the above health condition should refrain from taking turmeric water. Otherwise, you can keep yourself immune from any disease by drinking turmeric water for at least thrice in a month.
