Ajwain:
Ajwain has been used for ages to bring relief from stomach ache caused by indigestion. Dry roast some ajwain, add a pinch of salt to it, and swallow it with water. This is the most effective and easy remedy for children.
Hing:
Warm a pinch of hing in a spoon, mix it with some milk and drink it. You can also make a paste of hing with water and apply to the stomach area. This will help in relieving gas and stomach ache.
Neem seeds:
Take neem seeds, tulsi leaves, and sonth (dry ginger) in equal amounts and add 10 seeds of kali mirch (peppercorns) and blend it into a smooth powder. Lick a small amount of this for relief from stomach ache.
Mint tea:
Take a handful of pudina (mint leaves) or pudina and add to boiled water. Cover and steam the mixture for 5 to 10 minutes. Sip this tea for instant relief, and if possible, you can also chew the leaves.
Jaiphal:
Mix jaiphal (nutmeg) oil with some sugar and have it for relief from stomach ache due to acidity.
Apart from these remedies, you can also eat 2 ripe bananas, lots of green leafy vegetables and curd every day. Drinking plenty of water can also help in maintaining proper bowel movements. It is also important to be physically active and engage in some basic exercises to keep stomach aches at bay.
