1. Vata
An unbalanced vata causes dryness in the ear canal. This leads to your ear wax becoming dry and hard to clean, causing pain and discomfort.
- Avoid dry foods and favour the sweet taste found naturally in fruits, root vegetables, milk and ghee.
2. Kapha
Kapha’s oiliness makes the ear canal fill up with pus when it gets aggravated. This tends to happen in the winter season as cold aggravates kapha.
- Avoid all oily and cold foods and increase the amount of light, dry and warm foods you eat, including buckwheat, barley, oats, lentils, and vegetables.
3. Pitta
The fiery pitta causes heat to get accumulated in the ear which leads to blisters and painful pimples.
- To pacify pitta avoid all hot, spicy foods and eat watermelons, mung beans, apples, cilantro, cabbage, and coconuts.
Home Remedies
