Almond is responsible for the rise of HDL (High-density Lipoprteins) and reduction of LDL (Low-density Lipoproteins) in our body. Reduction of LDL enhances the good cholesterol level in our body.

Fibre rich foods are good for people suffering from constipation. Almond is one such fruit which has high amount of fibre in it and hence is very good for constipation. You should consume 5-6 almonds everyday to regulate bowel movement.
