 Shallaki (Boswelia serrata)

 Another very popular herb that is often recommended for relief in joint and muscular pain, is Shallaki. In the West, it is also known as Boswelia serrata. You can find this herb in any common herbal supply store in your neighbourhood, or you can order it online from a herbal stockist. Application is also easy, and there are many ways to do it. This herb is available in the form of essential oil as well as powder. Experts have recommended the use of this herb as a natural and herbal alternatives to chemical-based painkillers. Even apply the essential oil in a similar fashion described above, you can soak a small piece of cotton with the oil and tap lightly over the affected area.  Cumin

In Asiatic cuisine, cumin is very popular as a kitchen herb and is used in almost every dish for every meal. Several benefits of the herb has been described in ayurveda as well, therefore if you have never used this kitchen spice in your meals before, it's time you started. Meanwhile, you can get the benefit of cumin by preparing a simple tea. To do that, take half a teaspoon of the herb, preferably dried and lightly roasted, and boil it in 2 cups of water. Continue to boil until the water reduces to half, then strain and add a little honey according to your taste and consume 2 to 3 times a day. If the taste is palatable, you can also replace or substitute your caffeine-based beverages with this Ayurvedic tea.
